I have just found your website, and agree with everything said on it. I have had many great encouners with the beautiful golden beasts, and quietly try to get lodge and camp owners to help the local people to also benefit from the presence of the tigers in the parks. People are the best barrier against poachers, and tourists should ensure that part of their fees are going towards local understanding. Keep up the good work.

Dear Phil,

It’s heartening to see the steady growth in the responses your website is receiving from visitors.

Subsequent to Tiger Awareness’ kit-distribution to all the forest guards in Bandhavgarh tiger reserve, I went around and met a few of them. I am happy to inform you that that they were very happy, and reiterated their resolve and commitment to their duty. This goes to show that such gestures of support from NGOs are positively instrumental in motivating the lowly-paid staff. And it also places additional responsibility on both Tiger Awareness and Vunraksha to take up more projects of support to the Forest Department as well as local communities in Bandhavgarh.

Let’s keep up the good work. And thanks to all the supporters of Tiger Awareness.

Aqeel Farooqi
Hony Secretary, Vunraksha

Hey Tiger Awareness!!

Can't wait to start raising money for your charity on 30th June!! Hopefully we will raise a decent amount that will help. It's totally wrong and sick what people do to these poor creatures, they are so innocent and beautiful!! I dont understand the people who could purposely hurt and kill them!

Good luck with the charity!

Farrah, Hayley, Bea, Jade and Sam

Hello tiger awareness,
We are recently doing a school project on saving the tiger and we think your website is amazing. It sickens us to think that people hunt tigers just for there fur & body parts! this is disgusting and needs to be stopped NOW!
Thanks k & R xx
