Tiger Reserves
The Tiger Reserves are part of Project Tiger which was formed in 1972 by Indira Gandhi in 1972.
Originally there were 9 tiger reserves. Today this number has increased to 28.
One tiger a day is being killed in the wild for their fur or body parts, which people believe can cure certain ailments. None of this has been proven. The practice is illegal yet it is still widespread.

Our Projects
We work in India at present which is where there are approximately 55% of the world’s wild tigers. We work in the Sundarbans. Funds have been donated to help build a hospital on Satjelia island. We have also supplied a small amount of medical items for the hospital. We have also donated items such as sleeping bags and binoculars for the forest guards so as to help them in their duty to protect the forest and its mammals.
